2023 has been named as the FoursquareGB Year of Multiplication!

Surekha Hulugalle, the [4]GB National Leader together with the National Board are encouraging the family with this message based on Genesis 1:27-28.

God created mankind in his own image,

in the image of God he created them;

male and female he created them and then

God blessed them, and God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;
have dominion over the fish of the sea,
over the birds of the air, and
over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Using our fruit (i.e. where we are) to cause a multiplication to "fill the earth" (influence) & "subdue" (establish Kingdom and His authority)

Multiplying our gifts and talents Mt 25:14-30, Multiplying our seed & generosity 1 Cor 9:10, Multiplying the word Mt 13:8,23,

Multiplying disciple makers (disciples who raise disciples) Mt 28:18-20, Acts 13:2, Multiplying mission Acts 8:4-8

to increase in number especially greatly or in multiples : AUGMENT

Hi, we have a great God who does great things.

I don't want to bore people with a recitation of doctrine, or a repetition of messages I've heard or spoken, but I want to celebrate what God has done and is doing yesterday and today in the lives of the people I know.

He still saves, heals, empowers and gives hope to all who come to Him today - seek the Lord while He may be found (Isa 55:6)

I heard recently that a survey showed that what young people wanted most today was to be famous - it didn't matter what for, most didn't know. The great thing is that with Jesus everyone is famous. He knows you as a unique individual with gifts and talents and a view of the world that only you can bring. It's true that Jesus had a warning for those that wanted fame in order to obtain things for themselves or to manipulate others for thier own benefit - but for all who will receive He is thinking thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope, active thoughts, plans that He will oversee to completion, something more valuable than anything that this world can give (Jer 29:11).

We are learning that God wants great things for us, that we don't need to be defined either by environment, our history, our parents, not even our previous choices but by the thoughts that He has toward us and they are are more than can be numbered (Ps 40:5)

Amazingly Jesus said anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these (John 14:12) and that for us He has come that we may have life and.. have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10)

Let's start doing great things and become famous for the things of the Kingdom of God!

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts. (Isa 55:8)
